About Me
Stylistically, I am a present, caring and thoughtful Christian Therapist utilizing effective evidenced-based tools and practices. I provide practical tools, to help you reach your therapeutic goals in a collaborative setting. I meet you where you are at to help you navigate what is happening in your life. I provide a safe space for you with or without a faith background. I am also an EMDR Certified Therapist helping clients who have trauma-related events (PTSD). Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes showing EMDR therapy as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences (Maxfield, 2019). With Indviduals. I am also experienced in treating the family of anxiety and mood disorders using Cognitive Behavior Therapeutic techniques. With couples, I am experienced in helping with a variety of communication and conflict struggles inside the relationship. I am also experienced in helping couples heal from infidelity, establish effective communication patterns, healthier boundaries and identify connection barriers to re-build trust and connection in the marital relationship. It is my desire to promote health and healing in your relationship. I personally believe that a holistic approach to therapy (how we think, our biology, our strengths, values, upbringing and our faith) impact treatment outcomes in meaningful ways. When we look at those components collectively, there is hope, balance and understanding that leads to healing and movement. It is my desire to see you reach your personal therapy goals and I committed to help support you.
