About Me
Hi, I'm Tami Mason, a proud mom of four, Navy Veteran, EMDRIA Certified Therapist, and Youth Behavioral Health Program Manager. Since earning my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2012, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families impacted by trauma, helping them navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment because I believe attachment is at the heart of both trauma and healing. Understanding our attachment patterns and healing attachment wounds can transform the way we relate to ourselves and others. For me, that's where true healing begins.
Education & Experience
I integrate EMDR, play therapy, expressive arts, and trauma-informed care to support clients in a way that is both effective and meaningful. I am a graduate of UC San Diego's Play Therapy Program, a Certified Expressive Arts Therapist, and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist. I am also currently working toward becoming a CAMFT Approved Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist.
Whether I'm working with clients, families, or mentoring developing clinicians, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where people feel seen, connected, and empowered to heal, grow, and thrive.
