About Me
Tanya Oakley, MSW RSW, is a registered Social Worker working full-time with the Operational Stress Injury Clinic. Tanya has been working as a registered social worker since 2001 and has extensive clinical experience in the field of adult mental health. She focuses on the delivery of specialized services and treatment to adults with severe and pervasive mood and anxiety disorders including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Deep Brain Reorientation, and EMDR. Tanya's current focus of practice is with veterans, reservists, Department of National Defense, and RCMP members. She also has experience with emergency service personnel. Tanya has a small private practice that is now accepting a very limited number of in-person and virtual adult referrals. Priority will be given to clients in the Grey Bruce area.
