About Me

As a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Alabama, with more than 7 years of counseling experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve wholeness. My qualifications include a MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, as well as a BS in Psychology and a BS in Christian Counseling, both from Liberty University. In addition to being a licensed professional counselor, I am a nationally certified counselor (NCC), a certified addiction counselor (CAC), and a certified trauma professional (CTP). I am passionate about guiding individuals through therapy and providing specialized care using therapeutic techniques such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, Flash Technique, and client-centered-focused techniques. I also integrate Christian counseling into the therapy session per your request. I specialize in issues surrounding addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. I work with clients on other mental health issues as well. ​ After experiencing the profound loss of my adult son, Nicholas, in 2022, I understand firsthand the deep impact of grief. My personal journey, combined with professional training, allows me to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to those navigating loss. I am committed to helping individuals process their emotions, heal, and rediscover meaning in their lives. ​ In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our Schnauzer-son, Samuel. In addition to being active in my local Church, traveling, hiking, reading, and gardening are ways I incorporate self-care into my own life to ensure balance and holistic health.
