About Me

I am a women of Mixed Heritage and an Evidenced-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapist as well as a Evidenced-based trauma therapist, utilizing: CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy); PE (Prolonged Exposure Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy). Currently the organization I work for only serves Active Duty or Veteran population, however, I do see some private pay.

Education & Experience

Started with working with patients as trainee in 1992. Received PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology in Multicultural Community Mental Health in 1999. Working in field of mental health for almost 20 years, my experiences includes working with multicultural populations since the start of my career addressing specifics needs of people of color as well as issues of class and other issues of diversity. Additionally, my experience includes working with individuals struggling with LGBTQIA issues, and Intersectional struggles.
