About Me

Teresa Zuvela is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of clinical experience, specializing in betrayal trauma recovery, partner trauma therapy, and EMDR-informed attachment repair. She is the founder of Woodland Pathways Counseling, a telehealth practice serving women throughout Washington State.
Teresa completed her EMDR training through Laurel Parnell's Attachment-Focused EMDR Institute and holds EMDRIA certification. Her clinical work integrates attachment theory, somatic awareness, and the Attachment-Focused EMDR model to support deep nervous system healing and relational repair. She works primarily with midlife women navigating the aftermath of sexual betrayal, helping them move from acute crisis through stabilization, clarity, and self-reclamation.
In addition to her licensure, Teresa holds certifications as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) — credentials that reflect her commitment to specialized, evidence-informed care for partners impacted by compulsive sexual behavior. Her Betrayal Trauma Stabilization Intensive offers concentrated telehealth support for women in the earliest and most disorienting stages of discovery.
Teresa practices from the Pacific Northwest foothills near Leavenworth, Washington, and brings a calm, grounded presence to her clinical work — rooted in the belief that safety and self-trust are the foundation of all lasting healing.
