About Me
I am trained as an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist through IITAP and a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist- Associate through APSATS. I specialize in working with betrayed spouses, and couples/families rebuilding after infidelity. Other couple/trauma specialties: EMDR, Brainspotting, Neurofeedback, EFT, Levels 1, 2, and 3 of Gottman, and currently in Level 2 training of PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy). I believe each client is unique and equipped! I strive to meet you where you are and collaborate with you to create and achieve your goals. I have experienced the pain of navigating complex trauma and betrayal, and I have also experienced the joy and peace of the hard work of my own therapy. I would be honored to walk with you towards health and hope.
Education & Experience
Teresa Prince is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) serving in the community of Birmingham, Alabama and throughout the state via Telehealth and intensives. While completing her graduate degree, Teresa pursued extensive specialized certifications and training. After graduating with high distinction from Liberty University with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021, she has continued to specialize and create intentional therapeutic programming for individuals, couples, and families at Insights Counseling Center.
