About Me

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College. Before I became a counselor, I was deeply involved in supporting the welfare of military service members and their families, participating in programs such as the Key Spouse program and Military Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). My commitment to these programs reflects my dedication to aiding those who serve our nation. Having been a military spouse for over 17 years, I bring a wealth of experience to my practice. My professional approach is enriched by my expertise in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapies, coupled with my global travels, which enhance my ability to connect with a diverse range of clients. My international experiences have not only expanded my worldview but also strengthened my advocacy skills. In my practice, I integrate the empathetic and empowering principles of IFS to nurture each client’s inner strengths. I am committed to helping clients discover and enhance their self-leadership, fostering self-compassion and transformative growth.
