About Me

I am a bilingual Latinx LCSW, born and raised in Reno, NV. My hobbies include going out for nature walks, hiking, camping, watching movies and cooking. In my career, I have developed a wide array of clinical skills working with children, adolescents, and adults to cultivate a culture of health and restore wellness. I have interests in continuing to engage in multi-ethnic communities, provide holistic care, and foster a healing presence to empower personal wellness and goal determination. I use the S.A.F.E. approach to EMDR that integrates somatic and attachment as a focus to facilitate the most safe and efficient way to implement EMDR. Incorporating S.A.F.E. EMDR, I prioritize nonviolence and mindfulness principles to foster healing conditions and increase resources for specific needs.
