About Me
I view therapy as a collaborative experience aimed at helping patients become the best version of themselves. I love working with patients who are motivated to make change and excited to learn more about who they are and how they navigate the world. I have a plethora of experience working with individuals and couples who have mood disorders, anxiety related disorders, complex physical and sexual abuse traumas, and those who have difficulty adjusting to life changes. Along with EMDR I also specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Both therapies are active, structured, and goal oriented forms of therapy that aim to uncover and change maladaptive patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Additionally, I also practice Emotion Focused Couples Therapy for couples. Whether you're returning or going for the first time, therapy can be scary. I pride myself on creating a warm, accepting, and empathetic environment that aids patients in opening up and exploring themselves. I am direct with patients and encourage them to face things that make them uncomfortable so they're able to grow. Currently I am only seeing patients virtually.
