About Me

As a therapist, I believe in the transformative power of healing and growth. The foundation of my professional journey is rooted in serving youth and families, having worked extensively in nonprofit agencies providing mental health services. I've had the privilege of supporting foster youth and youth on probation, as well as supervising clinicians dedicated to work with these underserved and vulnerable populations. This experience has given me a profound understanding of human resilience and the unique challenges individuals face. I am passionate about using a person-centered approach and EMDR to help folks find relief from suffering caused by their trauma. My approach emphasizes building a strong foundation to reinforce internal resources, ensuring clients feel confident and empowered to navigate and reprocess more distressing memories. Watching clients realize internal strengths, bloom into their authentic, resilient selves and heal from years of suffering is truly rewarding. Outside of my practice, I find a lot of joy in nurturing my own collection of plants. There's something incredibly parallel between watching things grow and blossom in nature and witnessing that same process unfold in people. I share my home with a beloved senior cat and am always learning how to expand joy, love, and connection in my own life, believing that continuous personal growth allows me to be of the utmost service to those I am honored to support.
