About Me
Hi, my name is Tina Bell. A little about me... I have a cat named Lily. She is a super soft senior Calico girl who enjoys stalking the birds outside from her cat tower. Some of my favorite things are to be in nature (bird watch and hike), go on adventures, clean and organize, spend time with family and friends, watch a good show, cook and eat delicious food and just enjoy life. My passion is in seeking knowledge and wisdom about wellness from both Eastern and Western philosophies. When I learn something new, I enjoy applying it to my own life to improve myself and then using the information to better help others.
Education & Experience
Tina Bell, LMFT has a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. The majority of her clinical experience comes from working on interdisciplinary teams in San Diego county's behavioral healthcare system with teens who had open Child Welfare Service cases and/or who were on Probation. After she became licensed in 2017, she opened a private practice called Blue Owl Counseling. This is where she currently practices as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #103370) working with individuals, primarily using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other EMDR related techniques to help people find relief from past traumas impacting their current lives.
