About Me

Toni Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the Founder and CEO of Toni Kelly Counseling & Consulting. She is a dedicated advocate for women’s and BIPOC mental health and is committed to expanding access to culturally responsive and affirming mental health care. Through her clinical and professional work, Toni focuses on helping individuals navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth while centering cultural awareness and authenticity in the therapeutic process.

In addition to her clinical practice, Toni is passionate about mentoring and supporting the development of future mental health professionals. As an adjunct instructor, she works to equip emerging social workers with the skills, critical thinking, and ethical grounding needed to serve diverse communities and promote equity within the profession.

Education & Experience

Toni earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Tennessee State University in 2009 and her Master of Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University in 2014. She obtained her clinical licensure in 2021 after completing extensive postgraduate training and clinical supervision.

Through her private practice, Toni Kelly Counseling & Consulting, she provides culturally responsive services focused on women and BIPOC communities. Her professional work includes individual and group counseling, coaching and consultation for emerging private practitioners, psychological evaluations for immigration cases, and clinical supervision for LMSWs.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

Toni is actively engaged in community and professional leadership. She serves as a Board Member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Davidson County and as a Board Ambassador for the Coalition of Black Social Workers. Through these roles, she contributes to initiatives that promote mental health awareness, expand access to services, and support the professional development of clinicians serving diverse communities.
