Tracy Wisdom Almanza, LMSW, CCTP-II
About Me
I’m a Marine Corps Combat Veteran. My experience started in 2006, while serving in the military, I was assigned as the Battalion Uniformed Victim Advocate (UVA) for sexual assault victims and the Suicide Intervention & Prevention Instructor Trainer. At times, I had to do on-site victim response and suicide negotiations. This lead me into a career as a Social Worker.
Education & Experience
Currently, I am a Doctor of Behavioral Health student at Arizona State University and practicing under my Social Work license. I obtained my Masters of Social Work degree from University of Southern California and my Bachelors in Psychology from California State University San Marcos.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
My services are provided through the Department of Veteran Affairs, McAllen Vet Center and free of charge to Veterans and Active duty Service members regardless of discharge type. *Currently taking new Military/Veteran clients* in-person or tele-health services available
