About Me

Hi. My goal is to provide a safe space that lets you feel welcomed, judgement will never be placed on you. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. I graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Social work. During my time there I was selected to be a fellow in the SIU School of Medicine Trauma-Based Behavioral Health Fellowship. As a fellow, I received intense trauma focused training. Trauma affects the brain in many ways. Our experiences as a child can shape all aspects of our life. Do you suffer from depression, anxiety, and triggers? The symptoms you are experiencing as an adult may be tied to your past. As a therapist I look beyond the surface and find the root cause of your discomfort. My training in EMDR has taught me how to help your brain heal naturally. I have successfully treated patients who have experienced sexual, physical and emotional abuse as well as individuals who struggle with PTSD. I am currently accepting new patients and I look forward to helping you on your wellness journey.
