About Me

I often work with sensitive, introspective professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds who grew up with emotionally misattuned parents or unpredictable environments- places where a full range of emotions may not have been given attention or space. Although most parents try their best, this lack of emotional attunement can lead to feeling unseen, untethered, and carrying a deep sense of "not enough," "not deserving", or even "defective." Creating feelings of "stuckness" in the same emotional responses that make it hard to feel good about yourself or feel truly connected to others.

My approach focuses on creating experiences in therapy that help your mind release old survival strategies rather than simply understanding them intellectually. This process supports deeper, more lasting change by allowing your nervous system to experience something new. Depending on your needs, this might include EMDR, imagery, parts work, or skill building.

If you are someone who is sensitive, thoughtful with words, and tends to process emotions slowly, therapy that pushes quick change may have felt overwhelming or misaligned in the past. I move at the pace your nervous system needs—carefully listening to cues from both body and mind, asking for permission as we explore, and gently guiding you forward.
