I'm not a passive therapist-- I roll up my sleeves and give you tangible strategies to deal more effectively in the moment with difficult experiences, thoughts, and feelings. I help my clients learn how to be more assertive and authentic, and less focused on people-pleasing, perfectionism, approval-seeking, and the "shoulds" that weigh them down. I use EMDR, ACT, IFS, and somatic and experiential techniques to bridge the gap between head and heart, mind and body.
