About Me

Hello, my name is Veronica. As a mom to a three-year-old and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am passionate about supporting children, individuals, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I provide a warm, compassionate space where clients can explore feelings related to anxiety, depression, and past trauma while building resilience and emotional balance. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I am a fluent Spanish-speaking therapist committed to offering culturally responsive mental health support. My primary therapeutic approach is EMDR, which helps clients process past experiences and reduce the impact of trauma so they can move forward with greater clarity and peace. I also enjoy partnering with parents to support their children’s emotional well-being. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, find healing, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life—you don’t have to go through it alone.

Education & Experience

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. I have three years of experience working as a clinical social worker and eight years of experience working in school settings. My professional experience has allowed me to develop strong skills in providing support, guidance, and mental health services in both educational and clinical environments. Through these experiences, I have built a strong foundation in understanding emotional and behavioral challenges and remain committed to offering compassionate and effective care.
