I feel privileged to have an opportunity to be a part of people's lives as they learn to find their inner strengths and greatness. I strongly believe that the therapeutic alliance is a way of guiding you to find new insights and learn the necessary skills to cope with life's challenges. My experience includes working with adults, adolescents, and families in various settings including outpatient and in-patient community mental health and non-profit agencies. My theoretical orientation includes EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT. The goal of these therapy treatment and interventions are to help people work through trauma, manage their mood symptoms, learn coping skills to live healthier lives, and improve interpersonal relationships. Education: MSW from California State University, Long Beach, Degree Conferred 2003 Experience: Currently running an independent private practice. Over 18 years of experience working in the mental health field including outpatient mental health clinics and in-patient psychiatric hospital setting.
