About Me

Hello-Hola! I'm Veronica (Vero) Licensed Clinical Social Worker first-Gen Latina, eldest daughter helping other anxious high achievers who have learned to be hyper-independent, but struggle feeling activated and then shut down under stress.
You may also be the first cycle breaker, college graduate, the first to work toward a dream, but don't know how to navigate the uncertainties of life which can make you feel stuck and unhappy. Together we identify the root of your over functioning/under functioning cycles, negative self-talk, and build adaptive tools so you can feel empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

As an EMDR certified therapist, I help you build tools to feel safe enough in your nervous system first. Then we delve into your story to help create meaning and connection. EMDR therapy, has helped my clients decrease shame from past experiences, build adaptive tools to manage life in the present and confidence to know how to cope in the future.
