About Me

I am a therapist working in a small group private practice in western PA. I have over 20 years experience at the Masters level and 30+ years in the mental health field total. Throughout my career I have focused on learning about and treating PTSD. I have participated in numerous trauma-focused trainings since 1990, when I completed a 40-hour Rape Crisis Intervention training while studying at Slippery Rock University. I am currently EMDR-trained and working towards certification. I am also trained in EXRP, PE, TF-CBT. I was trained by S.A.F.E. Alternatives in treating self-injurious behavior. I was trained in basic Critical Incident Stress Management. I have familiarity with CBT, DBT, IFS. I have an interest in SE and Attachment work. I have been interested in DID since high school when I read the biography "I'm Eve" about the woman whose life inspired the movie "The Three Faces of Eve".
