About Me
Hi, I’m Victoria Palmer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Victoria Palmer Psychotherapy in Warrenton, Virginia. I specialize in trauma and eating disorders. My approach is warm, collaborative, and attentive to how past experiences affect your emotions, relationships, and body. Together, we work at a pace that supports you in feeling more grounded and connected to yourself.
Education & Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work in 2017 and Master of Social Work in 2018 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I have been a Virginia Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2021. I am trained in EMDR through EMDR Consulting, with a neurobiological and attachment-focused lens. My work also draws from DBT, RO-DBT, Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), and Family-Based Treatment (FBT). My eating-disorder care is Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned.
