About Me

Victoria focuses on supporting clients heal from difficult life experiences, including grief, trauma, abuse, and PTSD. Her work is trauma-informed and she has experience working with marginalized populations and First Nations people. Victoria is trained in EMDR and integrates other modalities, as needed, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work. Victoria also incorporates Mindfulness-based approaches and has a special interest in Self-Compassion based therapy. Victoria works with youth (ages 16+) and adults on an individual basis, and has a special interest in working with First Responders.

Education & Experience

Victoria has her Bachelor of Applied Sciences (BASc) from the University of Guelph and her Master of Arts (MA) degree, with a concentration in Psychotherapy, from Wilfrid Laurier University. Victoria has her CBT Level I and is trained in EMDR.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

Victoria is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). Victoria works alongside Badge of Life Canada, facilitating Monday evening Peer Support Sessions for First Responders.
