About Me
I believe that your unique neurobiological blueprint isn't a problem to be "fixed"—it is a landscape to be understood. As a licensed psychologist specializing in high-achieving adults, I bridge the gap between clinical precision and deep human connection.
I know that for many of my clients, the "standard" therapy experience has felt like a mismatch. You don’t need a generalist; you need a partner who understands the complexity of your mind and respects the urgency of your time. My practice is built on a non-pathologizing philosophy. We won't spend our time focusing on just labeling you; instead, we will work to dismantle the "mask" you’ve been forced to wear to survive.
I offer a structured, "no-surprises" environment where you are treated as an intellectual equal. By integrating cutting-edge, somatic-based trauma protocols—including EMDR and the Flash Technique—with the values-driven clarity of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I provide a roadmap that makes sense for your specific brain. My goal is to remove the administrative and sensory "friction" of therapy so you can focus entirely on the work of healing and reclaiming your authentic self. You don’t have to "mask" here; you can simply be yourself, and we will do the work required to help you thrive.
Education & Experience
Education:
PhD in Clinical and Developmental Psychology, University of Illinois at Chicago (APA Approved)
MA in Clinical and Developmental Psychology, University of Illinois at Chicago
BA in Psychology, University of Maryland
Clinical Experience & Expertise: With over 30 years of clinical experience, I specialize in the intersection of neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism) and complex trauma. My career is defined by a commitment to evidence-based practice, ranging from my early work in cognitive-behavioral research to my current role as a Chief Clinical Officer. I have dedicated my professional life to translating complex psychological research into practical, accessible tools for individuals navigating burnout, executive dysfunction, and the exhaustion of "high-functioning" performance.
My approach is grounded in the belief that trauma is not just a memory, but a physical state of being. I utilize specialized, somatic-based interventions to lower the physiological charge of past experiences, allowing clients to process trauma without having to relive it in agonizing detail. Whether through targeted diagnostic testing to map your unique wiring or intensive EMDR protocols, I provide a structured, predictable path toward nervous system autonomy and values-driven living.
