I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 18 years of experience in the field of trauma. My expertise is working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and clinical work as it relates to how trauma impacts individuals, families, and communities. I use a strengths-based approach with an understanding of how trauma affects the brain and the body. I incorporate practical skills that you can use daily to enhance your quality of life. She has also done radio and television interviews in Spanish that raise awareness of mental health in the Latinx community.
