About Me
I am from rural Kansas, but have traveled to many countries, some multiple times. I believe that you will not grow if you're not out of your comfort zone. Travelling pushes me outside my comfort zone so I can continue learning. I love working with adults, and helping them rediscover hope for their future. I am married (10 years) and have one adopted son. We spend lots of time with family, and our animals. I've been working on learning Polish for 3 years, but I need to find a new learning app to continue.
Education & Experience
I received my bachelors in Intercultural Studies in May 2012, and my masters degree in social work in May 2015. I worked in child welfare from 2012 - 2024 in various roles from case manager to director of permanency services. I spent a few years at a group practice and now own a private practice. I am starting level 1 Internal Family Systems training in April 2026, and plan to finish in September 2026.
