About Me

What is most important to you in your life today? What is working for you and what would you like to change? We will work collaboratively to identify and achieve the goals that are most meaningful to you, using an individualized and integrative approach that treats the whole person. You are an individual and there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach! I consider my clients to be the experts in their own lives and own lived experiences, and approach counseling through a solution-focused and strength-based lens to help enact long-lasting change. I believe that the only person qualified to identify your goals is you, and my role is to support you in achieving them. I consider it a privilege to collaborate with you in a culturally sensitive, strengths-based manner to assist you in recognizing your own resilience and worth. I also partner with my Licensed Therapy Dog, Indigo, who is amazing at providing emotional support during sessions and has even assisted in treating multiple individuals with dog phobias. If you prefer that he not be a part of your sessions for any reason, please let me know and he will be crated during your time with me.

I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a specialty in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Lynn University. I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and EMDR trained through the EMDR Institute of America.
