About Me
Are you stuck in the echoes of the past? Perhaps you feel a lingering sense of anxiety or heaviness that doesn’t seem to belong to your current life. Maybe you find yourself repeating the same painful relationship patterns, or feeling a suffocating sense of guilt when trying to set boundaries with family. If you feel like you are living out a "script" written by generations before you, you are not alone—and you don't have to carry that burden anymore.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate relational, intergenerational trauma and complex family dynamics. My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy by integrating Bowen Family Systems Theory and EMDR to tackle distress at its roots.
I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist licensed in Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee & Virginia, speaking English, Mandarin & Cantonese. Virtual only.
Education & Experience
I earned my master’s degree in 2013, with a focus on family-centered practice and family therapy, with extensive experience working at an Integrated Family Service Centre in Hong Kong, offering individual and family counseling, before moving to US.
