About Me

Xochilt is honored to help clients work through the pain they have carried for a long time. The positive changes she hopes each client experiences are those that she has seen in others she has helped. She has witnessed that through a combination of talk therapy, EMDR techniques, HeartMath techniques, and other trauma-focused therapies the traumatic images, and negative thoughts a person believes about themselves can positively change and the traumatic event be remembered without the intense distress. As your therapist, Xochilt will help you be able to express and gain understanding of your emotions and the event(s) you survived. The best part is that you don’t have to be perfect doing it. After all, healing is not a straight line. Plus, your brain is such a powerful healing tool, and you are the only person on earth who knows your trauma and challenges. Xochilt can also help you find a combination of things that that will help you create a healing environment outside of therapy.
