About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 6+ years of post- graduate experience. I work with adults and children facing challenges related to single episode trauma, relational trauma, abuse, and neglect. In additional to being trained and certified in EMDR, I am trained in psychodrama, Emotional focused therapy and addictions. I am culturally-sensitive therapist and use a client-centered approach.
Education & Experience
I graduated with honors in 2014 from Long Island University and subsequently received training and certification in EMDR. I worked both outpatient and in-home crisis intervention which included working with individuals and families struggling with abuse and neglect, addictions. I also trained in other models and presented workshops in outpatient clinics, colleges and at a national conference. I currently supervise therapists in trauma-informed practice.
