Yolanda B Sanders, LPC
(she/her/hers)
Preferred Name: Yolanda
About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. I specialize in life transitions and know that any change, positive or not, can, at times, be difficult. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is an essential part of the process. I work with adults of all ages and older adolescents. I start with a client-centered approach, allowing you to focus on your individual strengths. I then make modifications to treatment modalities to accommodate your specific needs. So I foster a safe space to promote growth and healing while integrating EMDR.
Education & Experience
As an experienced educator and career changer, I hold a doctor of education degree (EdD) from Loyola University. Later I received a master of arts degree (MA) in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.
