About Me
Yvette Rodriguez began her career in federal law enforcement with a bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and Police Science from Sam Houston State University. In 2018, Yvette began her counseling career with a temporary license from the State of Texas.
Education & Experience
While working as a law enforcement officer Yvette pursued her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. During her therapeutic career, Yvette has worked with individuals in crisis, with the juvenile justice system, with battered women, and with individuals. Since obtaining full licensure, Yvette continues to work with adults, children, and adolescents with a primary focus using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral approaches.
