This program provides an overview of designing and practicing EMDR within an intensive therapy model vs. a traditional therapy model. The focus is on foundational information about the intensive therapy model, differences with traditional therapy approach to EMDR protocol and clinical considerations for selecting appropriate clients for intensives. It will cover what type specialty training a therapist needs, the scope of the treatment, & the skillset. Screening & ethical considerations will be discussed as well as logistical consideration of the intensive session & programs. Case examples will be shared & EMDR protocols used within this model. Other areas discussed are billing & payment options including structure & pricing & the In/Out of network insurance options.
