Approved for 3 EMDRIA Credits

This training is designed for clinicians seeking to ethically and effectively integrate spirituality into clinical practice. Participants will explore the distinctions between spirituality, faith, and religion; learn culturally responsive approaches to spiritual assessment; and examine how spirituality can function as both a protective and risk factor in mental health. Through the lenses of Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR, clinicians will gain practical, evidence-informed strategies for incorporating clients’ spiritual beliefs and practices into treatment while honoring client autonomy, cultural humility, and professional ethics.

Presenter: Kimberly Weaver, LCMHCA
