This advanced workshop (held May 29 – June 1, 2023) aims to teach EMDR clinicians how to modify EMDR for children & adolescents who have a variety of presentations – from PTSD to grief, pain. It includes adaptions to the standard EMDR protocol for children who have been abandoned, orphaned, neglected, trafficked, and for neuro-diverse children. It focuses on understanding problems and issues in children through the perspective of an Adaptive Information Processing model while recognizing that the child remains part of a system.
