This live webinar teaches participants when and how to utilize The Constant Installation of Present Orientation and Safety (CIPOS) method, developed by Jim Knipe (2015). This procedure facilitates dual awareness in preparation for processing complex trauma. Participants will learn how to assess for dissociation and how to use the CIPOS procedure to counteract dissociative processes that could interfere with EMDR therapy. Facilitated practicum will help participants to integrate the lecture material with clinical application.
