This program will address how to engage children and work with complex trauma within each of the 8 Phases of EMDR. Recognizing that children engage and process in sometimes unique ways given their developmental stage, EMDR can be more effective when adapted to the child’s mind and ability.  Creativity, movement, and play will be applied within the defined protocol to adapt EMDR into a more workable model and enable clinicians to expand their application with children.  Telehealth applications and safety will be addressed to ensure that clinicians can work with children in a constantly changing world.
