Dissociation is often misunderstood despite its prevalence in trauma work. This course demystifies dissociation as an adaptive survival response, helping clinicians recognize, assess, and treat it using practical interventions drawn from EMDR, experiential trauma therapies, and evidence-based approaches. Clinical dynamics, case examples, and countertransference considerations will also be explored.
