This advanced workshop provides therapists with practical strategies and a framework for delivering affirming care to clients at the intersection of gender diversity and neurodivergence. This presentation explores the considerations and adaptations of EMDR therapy for clients who are both neurodivergent (ND) and transgender/gender-diverse (TGD). It emphasizes intersectionality, barriers to care, and both EMDR considerations and adaptations that foster trust, safety, and empowerment for both TGD and ND Clients. Attendees will gain a toolbox to integrate these adaptations into their practice to foster affirming EMDR care.
