This three-part series (July 30, August 27 & September 24, 2026) will discuss how Somatic and Attachment-Focused (SAFE) EMDR integrates trauma-informed principles and a lens of safety and attachment into EMDR therapy. While keeping fidelity to the EMDR model, this approach helps clinicians recognize and regulate defenses that block processing, fostering safety, presence, and relational repair so trauma can resolve as safe and efficiently as possible.
