Children and adolescents impacted by trauma often lack the verbal capacity for traditional talk therapy. Integrating EMDR and play therapy offers a developmentally responsive approach to trauma processing. Participants will learn play-based adaptations for EMDR’s eight phases, including resourcing, bilateral stimulation, and symbolic processing, while strengthening case conceptualization and ethical, developmentally appropriate implementation.
