Addiction is often a response to unresolved trauma, yet traditional addiction treatment models frequently overlook its deep-rooted connection to attachment wounds and developmental trauma. This course offers a trauma-informed framework integrating the eight phases of EMDR Therapy to help EMDR therapists move beyond symptom management and into lasting change. Through didactic instruction, case studies, and demonstration videos, participants will gain practical tools to effectively address addiction through EMDR Therapy with compassion and respect. This course equips mental health professionals with strategies to support clients in defining their own recovery while encouraging post-course consultation for continued skill development.

Presenter: Cassie Krajewski, LCSW
