“I know my client needs more Phase 2, but what should I do?” This program will explore a range of Phase 2 Preparation strategies to support clinicians. Using a polyvagal lens, specific strategies will be explored to address different nervous system states. Additional strategies will be taught to increase distress tolerance and prepare clients to engage with difficult material during reprocessing phases. Participants will also explore how to integrate parts work into Phase 2 preparation to increase readiness across the system to engage in the work.
