This live webinar will be held over two days (February 6 & 20, 2026). Participants trained in the practice of EMDR will review the impact of an I/DD diagnosis. The presenter will introduce the concept of using a biographical timeline to enrich the appraisal, diagnosis and target the interventions, particularly when a person is not verbal or able to articulate their own life story to the therapist. The presenter will then show the relevance of EMDR as a therapy, its positive effects, and show how to tailor the application of EMDR Therapy, including therapeutic use of self, to the individual’s needs.
