The Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP) was developed as an extension of the R-TEP protocol to address the needs of group intervention for recent traumatic situations. It has been used with survivors of man-made and natural disasters, as well as with individuals coping with physical illnesses. It is very adaptable for virtual therapy providing contained, focused processing after developing three resources: a present safety orientation, recalling a time of past mastery and orienting toward the future.
