This intermediate-level EMDR training explores how concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS) can inform EMDR case conceptualization and clinical decision-making. Topics include recognizing protective responses and internal polarization, selecting cognitive and parts-informed interweaves, considering EMDR processing adaptations when protective concerns arise, and supporting clients in approaching vulnerable emotional experiences with compassion and attunement.
