Approved for 4 EMDRIA Credits
Cognitive interweaves are a key component of EMDR therapy, particularly when processing becomes blocked or incomplete. When working with children and adolescents, interweaves must be adapted to align with developmental level, language capacity, and relational context. This module will explore how to effectively use interweaves with younger clients, integrating play-based, attachment-informed, and developmentally appropriate strategies. Participants will gain practical tools to support processing while maintaining safety, engagement, and regulation.
