This retreat (October 3-5, 2024) offers an in-depth exploration of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help therapists manage empathic distress and professional burnout. Participants will engage in hands-on activities and experiential learning, focusing on the integration of EMDR and IFS to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. The program includes practical exercises to identify and process Negative Cognitions and strengthen personal resilience. Attendees will also learn to apply these techniques to foster a deeper understanding of their professional roles and personal dynamics, ultimately leading to improved self-care and client outcomes. This immersive experience is designed to provide continuing education credits and transformative personal and professional insights.
