This one day live webinar covers the theory and procedural steps of the Group Traumatic Episode protocol developed by Elan Shapiro and adapted for children by Ana M Gomez. This protocol is  based on EMDR therapy procedures and the Adaptive Information Processing Model (AIP). The GTEP has built-in resources for regulation and state change such as the four elements, the safe place, access to positive memories, positive cognitions and beliefs as well as a titrated entrance into traumatogenic memory networks.  Three tracks and delivery formats are covered in this training: C-GTEP using a booklet, using the sand tray and using EMDR on the ground (Gomez).
