Participants will learn the definitions and mechanics of EMDR therapy. They will review the basic protocols of each of the 8 phases and how to implement it for pain management. They will acquire material on how different types of pain affect a client and how EMDR can be helpful. Participants will learn resourcing for their clients and themselves. They will be able to demonstrate use of EMDR with clients who struggle with different types of pain. Lastly, participants will be able to describe the correlation trauma has with pain.
