This advanced course reviews recent research addressing effective use of EMDR therapy to treat psychosis and outlines interventions to decrease impact of trauma on individuals who experience psychosis. Focuses on improving the clinician’s assessment of psychotic symptoms, determining client readiness for reprocessing, identifying whether symptoms are directly or indirectly related to traumatic experiences, and creating treatment plans.
